Spring Things

Jodi McIntyre | MAY 11, 2022

I love Canada and all it's seasons.

This year however, I was definitely ready to say goodbye to winter.

Coming out of hibernation, I was feeling some new aches and pains and seeing the return of some other old minor health issues. I recognized that I needed to dust off the cobwebs acquired from 2 years of lock down and isolation and reconnect with all the things I know that help me create a healthy lifestyle. I was also excited about new work projects and upcoming travel.

I was ready to hit the ground running this spring!

Then I developed the first cold that I had experienced in well over 2 years. That lingered for several weeks. Shortly after that passed I got Covid. That was followed two weeks later by an old fashioned flu bug (Note...I know exactly where the sources of these ailments came from. I'm not going to name names, but they are tiny and cute and go to elementary school and I was not able to resist their hugs and kisses after 2 years of having to abstain).

My spring plan was to power up, get outside and hustle. My spring reality was to slow down, heal and reflect.
I'm feeling much better now and am excited to get back on track with my plans, which have been modified to a gentler approach.

Changes to online classes.

The Free Into to Yoga and Chair Yoga classes have been temporarily paused to make room for a new class, Gentle Yoga.

This class is suitable for anyone looking for a whole body stretch at a slow easy pace. Instruction is provided to work from a yoga mat or from a chair.

Strength and Flow and Functional Yoga are still available both daytime and evenings. You can access the full schedule here.
I am working on making a recorded version of the all live classes available each week so that if students aren't able to attend the live class they will receive a link and practice at their convenience throughout the week.

Coming this summer.
In person outdoor yoga classes! Details will be sent out as soon as they are confirmed.

Be well friends,

Jodi
