Gentle Yoga

Get a whole body stretch while you take time to relax and unwind. In this class we explore basic yoga poses, taught at a gentle pace. Instruction will be offered to practice from a mat as well as from a chair in case of any mobility issues getting up and down from the ground.

Functional Yoga

In the Functional Yoga class we take traditional yoga poses and incorporate movement that is beneficial in how we use our bodies throughout our day to day lives. Mobility, resiliency and longevity are themes that are reflected in the poses each week. Please note we get up and down from the floor in this class. If mobility is an issue contact Jodi for modifications or check out the Gentle Yoga class.

The use of yoga blocks and straps, or similar household items is encouraged.

Strength and Flow

Strength and Flow is an active yoga class that aims to create a balance between strength and flexibility. Poses are linked together to flow with the music and the breath. Some prior knowledge of yoga postures is recommended.

Please note we get up and down from the floor in this class. If mobility is an issue feel free to contact Jodi for modifications or check out the Gentle Yoga Class.

Workplace Yoga

We are proud to offer online and in person yoga classes for businesses to offer to their employees to promote wellness in the workplace.

Yoga has been shown to improve stress management, increase mental alertness and clarity and helps to reduce muscle tension and pain due to repetitive movements or sedentary working positions.

These yoga classes are taught with instruction for varying levels of ability, with modifications provided to make the poses accessible for different capabilities or limitations.

Classes can be designed to suit the specific needs for a particular job or employees can be given access to the Functional Yoga, Strength and Flow, Chair Yoga or Gentle Yoga class.

Classes can be scheduled at your convenience with daytime and nighttime options available.

Private Yoga Class

Whether one on one or in a small group, private classes are a great way to customize your yoga practice. You experience the most benefit for your health and well being when you work from a place that is designed around your own personal capabilities and limitations. The private or small group classes are suitable for both new students looking to learn basic yoga poses and relaxation techniques, as well as experienced students who want to advance their postural yoga or meditation practice.

Private classes can be done in home or online. Yoga mats and additional props such as blocks or straps are available upon request.

Gather a group of friends or family and create your own private class. No prior yoga experience is necessary. We work with any age and athletic ability. Instruction will be given to suit all levels to help make the poses accessible. Private classes can be scheduled at a set day and time or if preferred, different times each week. Sessions are 6 weeks in length.

Intro To Yoga

This class is suitable for anyone checking out yoga for the first time. Students familiarize themselves with basic yoga poses that are taught with modifications and variations.

Emphasis is put on finding what feels best for each individual, as not all yoga poses suit everyone the same way.

We sometimes move up and down from the ground so if there are mobility issues instruction can be added to include working from a chair if you reach out prior to class. We also offer a Gentle Yoga class that includes instruction to practice from a chair.

Yoga blocks or straps, or similar household items are sometimes used to support the poses but not necessary to participate.

This yoga class is an amalgamation of all 3 other online yoga class styles, Gentle Yoga, Functional Yoga and Strength and Flow Yoga. The use of props like yoga blocks or straps is recommended but not necessary. Instruction to work from a mat and seated in a chair will be provided.
