Chair Yoga

Chair yoga uses gentle movement in a slow and controlled manner while incorporating relaxation techniques. It's suitable for anyone who is brand new to moving or is moving again for the first time in a while. It is also beneficial for those who are stationary for extended periods and want to find helpful movements to alleviate tension that can be easily incorporated into their day.

A foot stool and yoga blocks or straps, or similar household items are sometimes used to support the poses but not necessary to participate.
